What medical tests are required for Kuwait?

For a Kuwait visa, especially for work, dependent, or residency visas, the GAMCA/WAFID medical test is mandatory and must be conducted at an approved medical center in your home country. The test ensures you are medically fit and free from communicable diseases before entering Kuwait.

 List of Medical Tests Required for Kuwait Visa (as per WAFID/GAMCA Guidelines):

 1. Blood Tests:

• HIV/AIDS test

• Hepatitis B & C test

• Syphilis (VDRL/RPR test)

• Malaria parasite (MP) test

• Blood Grouping

 2. Chest X-Ray:

• For screening pulmonary tuberculosis (TB)

 3. Urine Test:

• Typically for sugar and albumin (basic kidney and infection check)

 4. Physical Examination:

• Conducted by a licensed physician to check for:

  • Physical disabilities

  • Mental disorders

  • Skin diseases

  • Other visible signs of health issues

 Additional Screening (If Required by Occupation):

• Pregnancy test (for women applying as housemaids/nurses)

• Eye/ear/mental health checkups (for certain job categories)

• Stool test (rare, sometimes for domestic worker categories)

 Documents Required at the Test Center:

• Valid passport (original + copy)

• Visa copy or sponsor letter

• Passport-size photos

• GAMCA/WAFID slip (appointment confirmation)

 Validity:

• The medical fitness certificate is typically valid for 3 months.
