UAE Visa Stamping – New Rules & Updated Procedure (2026)
The UAE Embassy has introduced updated procedures for employment visa stamping. Below is the latest step-by-step process applicable for applicants processing through Trivandrum and Hyderabad.
Step-by-Step UAE Visa Stamping Process
Step 1: Entry Permit / e-Visa
- Obtain a valid UAE Entry Permit (e-Visa) issued by UAE Immigration.
- This is arranged by your employer/sponsor.
- Ensure all details match your passport exactly.
Step 2: Medical Fitness Test (GAMCA)
- Book your medical appointment through GAMCA.
- Submit:
- Passport copy
- Aadhaar copy
- Service Fee: ₹1,200
- Medical Tests Include:
- Blood Test
- Chest X-ray
- Medical Fee: Approx. ₹9,500 (paid directly at the medical center)
Step 3: Medical Certificate Attestation
- Your medical certificate must be attested by:
- UAE Consulate
- UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
Step 4: PCC Attestation
- Obtain Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Passport Office.
- PCC must be attested by:
- UAE Consulate
- UAE MOFA
Step 5: Visa Stamping & Biometrics
- Biometrics (fingerprints + photo) will be taken.
- Processing done at UAE Consulate in:
- Trivandrum
- Hyderabad
Step 6: Final Processing
- Processing Time: 3 to 5 working days
- Final e-Visa will be issued and sent to your sponsor via email.
